Costa Navarino-Navarino Dunes Messinia

The project is about Luxury Resort Hotels, residences and golf courts on the beach of Messinia in the location Romanos on a field area of about 205.000 m2 and it contains two Luxury Hotel Units consisting of two underground levels and five levels above the ground, a Conference Centre, SPA, Golf facilities, pools and landscaping. Structures are made of reinforced concrete with roofs made steel and timber.

The first Hotel Unit has a total building area of 32.000 m2 while the second one has 51.000 m2 .
The Conference Center consists of five levels with a total building area of 19.500 m2 and the conference room is covered by a steel roof with dimensions of 35.30m Χ 42.60m. The SPA centre has a total building area of 7.800 m2 and has four levels.

At the ground level there are pools with different shapes depending of the type of the hotel rooms it belongs. In general, buildings have rigid foundations due to the seismic characteristics of the surrounding region (mat foundations and rigid footings strips).
The surrounding the buildings Landscape was made using retaining walls with reversed T shape and variable heights.

Among the Hotel Units there are large pools with underground areas for machinery.
Some buildings have timber structure roofs visible from inside. The Hotel Units are joined functionally to each other using concrete or timber corridors (seismic joints are used to assure the statically independence of the buildings).
